Cars & Coffee is a gathering of all types of car lovers. It started in 2008 as a small get together for Knoxville car guys to have something to do on a Saturday. However, it’s grown into quite an event, so much so that many people drive from out of state just to attend. The event is always held on the first Saturday of every other month. Come be a part, here in the parking lot (and overflowing down all the nearby roads) of European Auto Garage. We are the official Knoxville Cars and Coffee.

A few of us met for Cars and Coffee on 1/5/13 and even though it was cold with no wind we did not even need a jacket. There were about 15 cars and most of us did not roll in until about 9:30.

Cars & Motorcycle Enthusiasts,
Although the “official” season is over (March –early November) there continues to be a few of us that still want to meet on Saturdays, drink Java and chat about motorized things. So if you have nothing better to do from about 8am- until the last car/motorcycle leaves, please join group at the Carmike theater parking lot in Cool Springs (Franklin).
Time: 8am- until the last vehicle leaves
Location: 633 Frazier Drive, Franklin which is the Carmike Thoroughbred 20 Theater parking lot closest to McDonald’s.
Refreshment opportunities: McDonalds is a few hundred yards from event or the Starbucks is across Cool Springs Blvd. (1/4 mile)
Housekeeping notes:
1) Pick up your trash. Please leave the parking lot better than you found it or the gracious business owners will end this spontaneous gathering.
2) Driving onto and exiting the parking lot – PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND RESPONSIBLY! Please enter the parking lot slowly, drive through the parking lot slowly and exit the parking lot slowly. Once you have left the parking lot and are on Frasier Drive, continue to drive appropriately. If you feel the “need for speed” and to “throttle up”, please at least wait till you are a mile away from the parking lot before you do anything. We do not want that activity to be associated with the Cars and Coffee event.
